Our Woolbabe merino/cotton blend sleeping bags are our biggest selling, mostluxurious bag…we thought we couldn't make them any better yet here they arenow made using Organic Cotton!

  • Our Duvet sleeping bag is one of the warmest and snuggliest winter sleepingbags available! It uses a quilted wool filling for additional warmth andtemperature regulation, where as most winter bags are filled with a syntheticpolyester or cotton wadding.
  • It can be used from approximately 14 to 22 degrees by varying the clothinginside the bag. Ideal from Autumn through till Spring, and on the cooler nightsin summer.
  • The outside layer is gorgeous 30% merino/70% soft organic cotton blendfabric. This beautifully soft fabric is knitted specially for Woolbabe!
  • The bag is filled with a snug layer of 100% Australian wool filling, whichgives amazing warmth and temperature regulating properties. It has the feel of aduvet or thick blanket, and many babies seem to sleep much better in thisheavier feeling of wool. The weight of the filling also means less wriggling fora lot of children.
  • The duvet Woolbabe is lined with a lovely 100% organic cotton lining, whichis soft and smooth against your baby's skin.
  • The combination of wool and organic cotton offers the best of both worlds, providing a light cover for your child in warmer conditions. These conditionsare often more difficult to gauge what your child should sleep in. The woolcomponent still provides the qualities which react to changes in bodytemperatures, keeping baby at a constant body temperature, which encourageseveryone to have a good nights sleep.

Fabric:

Outer fabric (yarn dyed stripe) 30% Australian merino/ 70% organic cotton.
Filling is 100% Australian wool
Lining is 100% organic cotton (white in all options)

Travel slot:

This Woolbabe can be used in your buggy with a 5-point harness. It has adouble-ended zip on the side of the bag, shoulder domes on both sides. There isa travel slot in the front and back of the bag.

Should I buy a front or side zip woolbabe?

The main considerations are how wriggly your child is and how often you willuse the travel slot. If your child is very wriggly or likes to stand up in thecot we recommend a front-zip bag, as they may otherwise pop open the shoulderdomes on a side zip bag.

The travel slot in the front-zip bag is only in the back, which means thatlittle feet are unlikely to go through the slot which can happen with a side-zipbag. However if you use the travel slot often you may prefer the slot in thefront and back.

One other advantage of the side-zip Woolbabe is that it opens out completelyflat. This can make nappy changing a bit easier.

Sizes:

3–24 months (measured shoulder to bottom) – 95cm.

Domes under the arms for a snug fit with babies 3–6 months.

Washing Instructions:

Woolbabe sleeping bags can be gentle machine washed with a liquid woolwash. You can also low tumbe dry your bag but please be aware some shrinkage may occurwith tumble drying.
